Scribehound is an independent publication launched in September 2023 by Chris Horne and editor George Browne. Fieldsports Channel acquired it in July 2026, and George Browne stays on as editor. If you subscribe today, you'll get full access to the website – both articles to read and audio to listen to – as well as email newsletters about new content when it's available. Your subscription makes this site possible, and allows Scribehound to continue to exist. Thank you.

It is a collective of rural voices — people shaped by fields, woods, weather and work — who share a single conviction: that the countryside can be stronger, more vibrant, and better for both nature and rural communities.
