We need to talk about trees
Complex problems rarely have simple answers. Trees are wonderful vegetables, but the simplistic notion that simply planting any tree, anywhere, must help with the climate crisis is both crass and dangerous.

The RSPB has turned a self serving theory into policy. The uplands are victims of the conservation industry's promotion of "their truth', the fantasy that a combustible landscape will not burn, because they say it won't.
