What is Women Who Work in Fieldsports?

The creation of Women Who Work in Fieldsports (WWWF) is due to an opportune encounter at The Game Fair among its three founders: Louisa Clutterbuck, Iona Campbell, and Vanessa Steel. Recognising the absence of a dedicated space for women in the fieldsports industry to connect and support one another, the trio envisioned a platform where women in this field could come together, share experiences, and foster a sense of community. Given the industry's isolation and male-dominated nature, their vision was to create an inclusive haven for women to discuss both triumphs and challenges. So many women work tirelessly behind the scenes in fieldsports, and they want to provide all with a voice.

WWWF has successfully hosted In Conversation Events featuring inspirational speakers and a festive Christmas drinks with many more events planned in the future.

WWWF is set to launch a series of initiatives aimed at empowering women in the fieldsports industry. Among these enterprises are a monthly podcast, webinars featuring industry professionals for members, a lineup of events across the country, as well as much more. These offerings are designed to facilitate networking, provide valuable insights, and create a supportive environment for women engaged in fieldsports.

The founders express their hope that individuals will join them on this journey. Their mission is to build a robust network, address critical industry issues, and showcase the finest aspects of Fieldsports in Great Britain. By fostering collaboration and amplifying the voices of women in the industry, WWWF seeks to contribute to the growth and vibrancy of the fieldsports community.
